the symphony of the desert is beautiful.

plunge into a
   coalescent thousand years of melody
      begat by beloved scarlet-gowned fields.
sighing sitar-painted strains of
   dolorous lacrimosal leitmotif.
labyrinthian memory unraveled,
   envoked for a season of thought.
choral-massed majestic
   living adhan of antiquity.

applauded, the
   brash brass passage of
      five-five-six;
thrilling, the
   thunderous percussive
      one-oh-two mike-mike.

refrain in endless reprisal,
   largo lost in a
      prestissimo of power.

appreciative, the
   requiem tears of
      widowed oruzgan
         upon the star-lined baton -

            spine of indifference.

Morendo is a notation in musical dynamics, which indicates that the volume of the piece being played should gradually decrease; or, in a more literal translation, it means dying.

This is another personal favorite.

Prestissimo is when the music is played quickly extremely quickly, adhan is the daily call to prayer song of Islam, and Oruzgan is a province in Afghanistan.
